<p>KOTV-DT is a full service television station in Tulsa, Oklahoma, broadcasting on local digital UHF channel 45 and on virtual channel 6. Founded in 1949, it is owned by Griffin Communications, LLC. KOTV is affiliated with CBS, airing CBS's primetime shows in the evening. In the morning, the station airs CBS's morning news and information program, with spots for local news and weather; in the afternoon, it airs CBS's soap operas; in the early evening, it shows CBS's national news broadcast and News on 6 local newscasts. After primetime, it airs its own local newscasts, followed by CBS's late-night programming. </p><p>KOTV also airs local sports broadcasts. KOTV's channel is multiplexed, with three subchannels. Channel 6.1 airs KOTV and CBS programs; 6.2 broadcasts sister station KQCW The CW, which features on a mixture of programming mostly targeted towards women and young adults, and 6.3 shows a twenty-four hour replay of News on 6 newscasts. KOTV has always been a CBS affiliate; the station had secondary affiliations with NBC, ABC and DuMont from 1949 until 1954 and Paramount from 1949 until 1953.</p>
